Lacquered steel — Materials and care guide

Here you will find information about the material and a guide on how to maintain Montana’s lacquered steel products.

About Lacquered steel

Powder lacquered steel is made with electrostatically charged powder lacquer, which is attracted to an object and forms a uniform surface when heated. Powder coating gives a uniform and impact-resistant surface that is extra resistant to scratches. It is the ideal surface protection on products that are exposed to wind and weather daily, and it is environmentally friendly.

Care and maintenance

The cleaning of the frame of tables should for instance be done by wiping it with a cloth that has been firmly wrung in lukewarm water or diluted detergent. Never apply oil on a lacquered frame. Do not use harsh detergents on powder lacquered steel.
