About solid wood
Tabletops made from solid oak are treated with a hardening, white-pigmented wood oil.
Care and maintenance
To maintain the finish, solid oak should be re-oiled 3-4 times a year, or as needed, using a hardening furniture oil. Apply the oil in a generous, even layer with a lint-free cloth, allowing it to absorb for 3-5 minutes. Then, gently wipe away any excess oil with a dry, lint-free cloth. For the first 12 hours after oiling, avoid placing items on the table to ensure proper curing.
For daily care, simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth.
