A new colour palette — Don't judge a colour by its colour
New colours for a new era. Every eight years, Montana develops a new colour palette.
30 new colours
The furniture company’s latest, expansive palette has come into being in collaboration with expert and colour-alchemist, Margrethe Odgaard. The new scheme explores how the colours relate to one another, to our bodies, to other materials, and to their spatial surroundings.
The new palette consists of 30 brand new lacquer colours, ten grey, white and black, which are surpassed from the old palette and two veneers: a total of 42 variants. The new colours can be experienced at our retailers, who are also happy to give you free swatches to take home. See the full colour palette below.
The transition to new colours – Montana's colour replenishment guarantee
The new colours replace the old, but fret not, Montana’s ten-year colour replenishment guarantee makes sure that no previous customer is left without the option to add to their purchase in the colour they have once chosen. Learn more about our guarantee at your nearest Montana retailer.

Sustainability in 42 variants – certified with the EU Ecolabel
Since 2007, we have exclusively used water-based lacquer colours, which neither smell nor contain solvents. In addition, Montana recently achieved the EU Ecolabel, making the company among the first furniture manufacturers in Europe. The EU Ecolabel includes the entire Montana System, the CO16 and the Montana Free Shelving System.
