About melamine chairs
The Montana Chairik chair in melamine consists of 21 layers of veneer and glue paper, with a final piece of either pealed veneer (melamine veneer) or a coloured paper (melamine coloured) and on top, front and back, a sheet of melamine. Melamine is a compound known for its firm surface resistance and tolerates hard use.
The melamine shell material is practical, strong, and requires minimal maintenance.
Care and maintenance
For daily cleaning of melamine-finished products such as chairs, use a clean cloth wrung in lukewarm water and wipe dry with a clean, dry cloth. For more thorough cleaning, use an all-around detergent (1-2 drops per 1 litre of water), then a clean, damp cloth to remove all soap, and finish with a clean, dry cloth. Do not use strong acids, bases, or alcohol-based cleaning liquids on the surface, nor scouring powder and nylon sponges, as these can create a matte finish or scratch the surface.
