About textile
Montana offers a basic selection of textiles primarily by Kvadrat. Most of the selected textiles in the basic range are EU Ecolabel certified and available in many different colours. Other textile types and colours can be offered on request.
Care and maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance of upholstered furniture are essential for preserving the fabric’s appearance and extending its lifespan.
To remove stains, gently dab a cloth dampened with lukewarm water onto the stained area. Be sure not to wet the fabric too much, as excess moisture can cause dirt to settle deeper. For stubborn stains, you can add a small amount of neutral detergent to the water. Avoid rubbing the fabric, as this can damage both the material and its colour. Once the stain is treated, blot the area with a dry cloth to absorb any remaining moisture. For thick liquids or solids, carefully scrape up as much residue as possible before cleaning. Dried stains should be vacuumed to remove any loose particles before further treatment. Always test the cleaning method on a less visible area to ensure it does not cause damage.
Additionally, keep upholstered furniture out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources like wood-burning stoves and radiators. Regular vacuuming is also recommended.
