The lifelong friendship between Peter J. Lassen, founder of Montana, and Verner Panton was based on an on-going exchange of ideas. Verner Panton’s long life of productive play within the parameters of form, functionality and creativity resulted in an abundance of innovative and experimental furniture designs and evocative universes that included hospitality, lobbies and lounges.
Throughout the years Montana have produced a number of his designs; among them the Pantonova seating system and Verner’s very first chair; the Panton One.
