Panton Wire — A timeless and adaptable system for many purposes

Go to product list

Less is never a bore. The Panton Wire system allows you to create the ultimate display shelf.

The Panton Wire System was designed by Verner Panton in 1971. The wire shelf is raw yet elegant, light yet industrial in its design. The Panton Wire comes in two depths and colours and can be used individually or in a combination – on the floor, hanging on the wall or as room dividers.

The new rectangular modules and suspended wire shelf are perfect for creating a more asymmetric look. Add a top plate or an inlay shelf to get a more personalised feel to your Panton Wire shelving system.

A shared world of ideas and colours

When Peter J. Lassen, the founder of Montana, first met the young Danish architect Verner Panton in 1956, neither of them was aware that this would be the beginning of a close friendship and life-long collaboration.

Between them arose a constant dialogue about design in which their shared world of ideas was surrounded by great mutual respect. The result was a large number of interesting and innovative pieces of furniture designed by Verner Panton. Some of these are manufactured by Montana today and can be found below.

Verner Panton – created new shapes and challenged the entire colour universe

Verner Panton is considered one of Denmark's most influential 20th-century furniture and interior designers, not to mention one of the most avant-gardes. During his career, he created innovative and futuristic designs in a variety of materials and in vibrant, exotic colours.
