The Pantonova Convex lounge chair is perfect as a freestanding single chair in the living room, but can also be combined into an organic and sculpted half circular shaped sofa. Cushion for the chair, can be purchased in leather, woven fabric and velvet - they are fixed around the wire with press studs.
The modular furniture system Pantonova, was designed by Verner Panton in 1971 for the extravagant restaurant Varna in Aarhus, Denmark. The modules can be combined to form curved lounge furniture in many different ways – perfect for the lobby, lounge and reception areas. In the original version in chrome-plated steel wire, Pantonova plays with its expression using both transparency and reflection. Pantonova is now also available in powder-lacquered Black Red and in a new Outdoor version in stainless steel. The three different Pantonova modules Linear, Concave and Convex can freely be put together to form organic and curved sofa formations that are sculptural and almost futuristic in expression, for indoors and outdoors.
The Pantonova System was designed by Verner Panton in 1971 and consist of three different seating modules: Linear, Concave and Convex. The sculptural chairs can be used alone as an elegant touch or combined in various organic shapes like a circle, a wave or an S.
All modules come in steel which is processed and either chromed or powder coated in the colour Black Red. The Pantonova System is also available in an Outdoor version in electronic polished stainless steel. For the series you can buy additional cushions in leather, velvet or textile from Kvadrat.
