Colour Archive — Three bold colours revived from the Montana archive

Colour Archive – Limited edition

Three bold colours return from the Montana Furniture archive – shades that embody our enduring commitment to confident, expressive design.

This philosophy traces back to the early dialogue between founder Peter J. Lassen and his friend Verner Panton, whose fearless approach to colour helped shape our view of colour as spatial, expressive, and deeply contextual. Reintroduced today, these archive shades carry that legacy forward – bringing personality, contrast, and character into contemporary spaces.

The limited edition brings Montparnasse, Boulevard and Extreme Lilac back into the Montana System 1112 module. The three limited colours are available exclusively on the 1112 module and will be available in stores from June 2026 – June 2027.

Three colours. Three characters

Each colour brings its own distinct character. Montparnasse is deep and composed, creating contrast and grounding the space. Boulevard introduces warmth and balance through its rich mustard tone with subtle green undertones. Extreme Lilac adds brightness and energy, illuminating the palette with a playful yet expressive presence.

Together, the three colours create a harmonious and dynamic palette — a dialogue between depth, warmth and lightness. Different personalities united by Montana Furniture’s enduring understanding of colour as something that interacts, contrasts and shapes the spaces we live in.

Montparnasse – The Thinker

Deep, composed and quietly expressive. Montparnasse brings depth to a colour composition, creating contrast and atmosphere. A colour that anchors a space while allowing others to stand out.
