TAKT joins Montana
Montana Furniture has acquired TAKT, the Danish design brand that has created wooden furniture with leading designers since 2019. The collection continues as TAKT by Montana, keeping its products, its design heritage and its collaborations with designers such as Pearson Lloyd and Lysemose & de Gier.

The Montana System gives people the freedom to express themselves through colour and furniture. But a home is rarely about colour alone. Most of us also surround ourselves with wood, stone and other natural materials. With TAKT’s wooden furniture, we bring that warmth and texture into the Montana world.
“With the acquisition of TAKT, we are adding a materiality to our range that completes our universe,” says Joakim Lassen, CEO of Montana Furniture.
From now on, the collection continues as TAKT by Montana. It brings solid wood and veneer into a universe known for colour and modularity.
The idea behind TAKT
Henrik Lorensen founded TAKT in Copenhagen in 2017. From the start, he worked with leading designers, built on the idea that well-made furniture should not be reserved for the few. That idea still runs through every piece in the collection.
The collection continues as TAKT by Montana. The products, the design heritage and the collaborations with designers such as Pearson Lloyd and Lysemose & de Gier all stay the same.
Where to find TAKT by Montana
From now on, TAKT by Montana will be sold through Montana’s global network of retail and contract dealers. In the near future, you will be able to explore the collection in our flagship store and showrooms in Copenhagen and Tokyo, and in our Montana stores in Seoul and Bremen.
