The Pantonova Concave chair plays with its transparent expression and lets the context come into sight throught the furniture. The chair is ideal as a lounge chair in the corner, because of its triangular shape, or as a sculpted circle shaped sofa for hotel lobbies or lounge areas. Pantonova is a modular sofa system developed by Verner Panton in 1971. Pantonova can be assembled in curved organic forms – but can also be used individually as a sculptural chair. The three Pantonova modules Linear, Concave and Convex can be freely combined to form geometric and curved sofa arrangements. Pantonova is made of chrome-plated steel wire, powder lacquered in the colour Black Red and an Outdoor version in stainless steel. Pantonova is available with or without cushion. The cushions are available in leather, woven fabric and velvet.
