Montana Kids is a collection of small furniture for the littlest people in the household, created in collaboration with design studio Hvass&Hannibal. The collection includes The Monterey Kids desk, the Kevi Kids chair, and the Montana Mini Play box.
About the series

Kevi fits from toddler to tween
The new Kevi Kids swivel chair is a miniature copy of the original office chair designed in 1958, and comes in four different colours from the Montana palette – Flint, Parsley, Rhubarb and Amber.

A playful take by Hvass&Hannibal
The design studio Hvass&Hannibal helped create the playful graphic universe of the Montana Kids collection. Their concept is a play on scale and imagination – treating the open Minis as miniature rooms that can be outfitted with archetypal architectural elements. Creating a connection between the scale of play, the scale of the child and the scale of the grown up with colourful elements that resemble stairs, furniture and doors – sparking imagination and playful interactions.
Hvass&Hannibal was founded in Copenhagen in 2006 by Nan Na Hvass and Sofie Hannibal while attending the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts’ School of Design. The studio works with graphic design solutions, illustration, identity design, textiles, printmaking, interior and more. The talented duo has received several awards, held jury positions in a range of competitions, and given talks and workshops at conferences and educational institutions in Asia and across Europe.
A desk for big ideas
The Monterey table is designed by Montana’s founder, architect Peter J. Lassen. As a part of the Montana Kids selection, we are now introducing the original 30 mm MDF design in a smaller version – for the littlest people in your household. EU Ecolabel certified and available in 41 water-based lacquer colours.
